Responsibilities:

The Senior Engineer/Computer Scientist (NSS and Process Modelers) serves as contractor lead for assessments, modeling, or analysis, and is responsible for technical interface with the customer on all processes involved in system engineering. System engineering tasks include: requirements definition, functional analysis, trade studies, design synthesis, configuration management, verification and validation, and cost, risk, and logistics analyses. Complete or manage the logical systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Will work with the design, development, integration, test and logistics support teams. Must have experience with multiple systems engineering disciplines and system engineering support throughout the system life cycle. Should have knowledge and experience in systems engineering in five or more of the following areas: Concept Definition and Mission Requirements Analysis, System Hierarchy and Specification Tree development; Functional Analysis; Systems Integration; Requirements Flowdown and Allocation; Configuration Management; Trade Studies; System Synthesis; Configuration Definition and Management; Risk Analysis and Management; Technical Performance Management; Performance Verification (V&V); Integrated Logistics Support (ILS); Logistics Analysis and Engineering (Reliability, Availability and Maintainability) and/or; Modification Management. Qualifications:

Education and Experience: This successful candidate requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, etc.) or in physical sciences, computer sciences, operations research, mathematics, physics, management, economics, or accounting and eight (8) years of general work experience. Seven (7) years of experience in models supported (mission, process, campaign, and/or engineering). Provide list of experience and model proficiency (mission - NSS for example, process - Extend for example, campaign - ITEM or STORM for example, and/or engineering - STK, JCSS, and others for example). Experience with DODAF process and products are required. Security Requirements: Must have Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI within last two years is preferred).
