| Responsibilities: |
The Junior C4ISR Engineer (Modeler/Architect/Analyst) works under some supervision of the Senior Engineer. Duties and Responsibilities: *Performs in a specific area of command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, or reconnaissance (C4ISR) expertise. *Utilizes system engineering methods, techniques, and procedures to support effective design, development, and integration of complex systems according to user and mission requirements. *Develops overall solutions focusing on all aspects of software, hardware, telecommunications, and logistics. Works with the design, development, test, and logistics teams in support of total systems solutions. *Requires demonstrated knowledge of system life-cycle support. Conducts research to support trade studies and component evaluations. *This is an entry level position where the fundamentals are applied to assist more senior staff while the employee develops proficiencies of a systems analyst. | Qualifications: |
Education and Experience: The successful candidate requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering (aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, etc.) or in physical sciences, computer sciences, operations research, mathematics, or physics and two (2) years of experience in a specific area of operational C4ISR expertise is required. Modeler to provide list of experience and model proficiency (mission NSS for example, process Extend for example, campaign ITEM or STORM for example, and/or engineering STK, JCSS, and others for example). Architect to provide experience with DoD Architecture Framework product development. Analyst to provide relevant analysis experience. Experience as an electronic warfare operator is a strong plus. Security Requirements: Must have Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI within last two years is preferred). Part of the QinetiQ North America experience includes a focus on work/life satisfaction.
