Overview:

 

The Systems Engineering Group of QinetiQ North America delivers systems engineering and integration, software development, logistics information management, training systems management, information technology services, and test and evaluation support for the development, modification, fielding and sustainment of military equipment and systems. Responsibilities:

The Operations Specialist plans and performs intelligence analyst duties on new and varied problems where only general objectives are stated. Individuals act as internal experts and may represent the organization to external groups, agencies, customers, stockholders and vendors. Responsible for coordinating broad phases of projects and for performing advanced development work. Intelligence analysis efforts are planned in coordination with related activities of other projects and departments.

 

Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques to situations requiring the expert application of advanced knowledge (e.g. complex problem solving, complex reports and/or technical papers, articles and patent disclosures). Investigates and advises management on the feasibility of new projects, systems or approaches. As senior analyst provides analysis of all-source data in a multi-intelligence area to produce executive-level defense reports relevant on a national or global level. Serves as subject matter expert in the intelligence analysis field supporting a DOD customer.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and ten (10) years operational experience to include: knowledge of friendly forces and adversary's conops, tactics, threat capabilities, targeting priorities, sensor/collection techniques, targeting priorities, and planning and conducting operations analysis. 

 

Security:  Must be eligible for a Secret security clearance. Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required. Some travel required.
