The Computer Systems Analyst I analyzes and evaluates major system project requirements of considerable complexity requiring a thorough understanding of all parameters affecting and interfacing with the system. Reviews user requirements and provides direction in the identification of problem and potential resolution. Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of complex, multiple, inter-linked systems (e.g. software, hardware, telecommunications and networks). Defines system objectives and prepares system requirements to satisfy interface problems and to meet user requirements. May provide work leadership for lower level employees. Must have good communication skills and be a team player. Must maintain currency in new information technology developments. Must have experience in conducting trade studies and providing decision support for management.

The successful candidate requires high school diploma/GED; working towards completing applicable vendor/platform certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), other); and one (1) year Computerized System experience to include  Network Protocols and operating systems.

Security:  Must be eligible for a Secret security clearance. Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required. Some travel required.
