The Systems Engineering Group of QinetiQ North America delivers systems engineering and integration, software development, logistics information management, training systems management, information technology services, and test and evaluation support for the development, modification, fielding and sustainment of military equipment and systems. Responsibilities:

The Junior Engineer/Scientist utilizes system engineering methods, techniques and procedures to support effective design, development and integration of complex systems according to user and mission requirements. Develops overall solutions focusing on all aspects of software, hardware, telecommunications and logistics. Will work with the design, development, test and logistics teams in support of total systems solutions. Requires demonstrated knowledge of system life-cycle support. Conducts research to support trade studies and component evaluations.

Qualifications:

 The successful candidate requires a bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering and one (1) year of specific experience related to the required responsibilities. The position is contingent upon contract award.   

  

Security:  Must be eligible for a Secret security clearance. Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required. Some travel required.
