Overview:

The Systems Engineering Group of QinetiQ North America delivers systems engineering and integration, software development, logistics information management, training systems management, information technology services, and test and evaluation support for the development, modification, fielding and sustainment of military equipment and systems. Responsibilities:
  • Designs and develops instructor-led, blended, complex interactive courseware for customer training.
  • Ensures integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, instructional materials, and evaluation plans.
  • Converts complex level written materials and/or training requirements to interactive courseware. Develops flow diagrams and story-boards.
  • Designs instructionally sound lessons in a variety of delivery media.
  • Interacts with customer and subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content.
  • Develops manuals, workbook, and audio/video tapes and disc.
  • Must be competent to work at the highest levels of all phases of instructional development. Will critique and evaluate the effectiveness of lower level instructional developer's materials. May provide work leadership for lower level employees and/or have lead responsibilities.


Qualifications:

Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required.

 

Education: Generally requires a Masters degree and ten (15) or more years of related experience.

 

Experience:

  • Fifteen (15) or more years experience in instructional systems design for deliver via classroom instruction, web-based training, computer-based training, distance learning, and CD-ROM for the DoD.
  • Experience includes implementation of advanced instructional technologies including digital and multimedia development tools; design and development and acquisition of Training Systems for the DoD. Front-end analysis, needs assessments, courseware design, Section 508 accessibility requirements and familiarity with Joint Warfighter C4ISR systems.
