QinetiQ North America is looking for and Administrative Assistant to support Programmatic Engineering, Measurement, and Analysis (PEMA) administrative tasks. The Administrative Assistant provides general administrative support to SSC Atlantic Code 6.0: Collects, compiles, and analyzes data and information and prepares written descriptions of results. Compiles reports, presentation materials, charts, graphs, and tables. Exercises initiative, independent judgment, follow-up, and excellent people skills. Work may include high tempo, urgent requirements, and may be of a confidential nature requiring a broad knowledge of government administrative practices, policies, and programs.a variety of administrative functions supporting the Charleston Operations Director and staff:
Some of these duties include; schedule appointments, give information to callers, some dictation, compose, copy, post, and upload memos, transcribes notes, and research as well as create PowerPoint presentations; may be required to develop briefings based on rough information provided. Schedules and coordinates executive's and team's calendar, meetings, appointments and schedules travel reservations. Assembles, analyzes and tracks information for the executive and team. Prepares reports, agendas, correspondence and memoranda for the executive team. Responds to all mail, email and telephone inquiries with follow through in an executive/military and front office environment - high level of discretion and professionalism required. DSS

The successful candidate requires a high school diploma/GED and at least five (8) years of experience or an associates degree in Business or Computer Science and (4) years experience in the compilation of data/information for management use. Two years of experience in DOD environment preferred. Security: Must be eligible for a Secret security clearance. Candidates for this position will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship required.
